Elle Elizabeth Girouard is officially half of an entire year old today.
She has cried, laughed, jumped for joy, lost hair and stolen our hearts among other things.
We have cried, laughed, jumped for joy, lost hair and hopefully stolen a piece of her heart as well.
Thank you Lord for blessing us with such an amazing little human being.
Thank you little Elle for continuing to brighten our world.
Our love for you is infinite.
You have made us more patient and compassionate human beings.
You give us reasons to smile each day.
You have opened our eyes to so much.
We truly would be lost without you.
All this, and you are still six months young.
Happy Half Birthday lil' Elle.

p.s. Baby girl did not consume any cake. A birthday party wouldn't be complete without cake, so we ate it for her :)
