It's hot. Extremely hot. Too hot to have baby outside for too long. Everyone seems to be out of town, and I don't think Elle Belle is ready for all the glorious and obnoxiously loud fireworks at the park. Instead we will enjoy some air-conditioned, indoor family time, complete with hamburgers and The Sandlot. (Am I the only one that immediately thinks Sandlot when scouring my brain for fourth of July inspired films? I just love the block party scene.)
Of course this is only after we already had our fill of fourth festivities at our local park (before the heat got too unbearable)...
